Working in caring professions, especially when we are exposed to other people’s trauma, can leave us with our own physical, psychological, and spiritual pain. In this webinar we will briefly look at how being exposed to trauma can affect us and what we can do about it individually and as organizational communities. Our presenter
Amanda Thiessen is a therapist, coach, and educator who works with individuals and organizations who are struggling to manage workplace mental health and relational issues like burnout, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, abrasive leadership, and targets of bullying & harassment. She has worked in caring professions for the last 25 years – the 8 years specifically with organizational issues. She holds a Master of Arts in Theology, a Master of Social Work, and an Organizational Coaching Certificate.
