We’re calling on the BC Government to ensure inclusivity for everyone with a disability – regardless of whether it is mental or physical.
The BC Government is developing new laws, standards, and policies to better support people with disabilities to live with dignity and meaningfully participate in their communities. We have until November 29th to provide our input on who and what should be included.
Will you join us in calling for inclusive services and spaces for all?
We’ve written a short letter calling on the provincial government to address both mental and physical disabilities and develop standards to reduce stigma and safeguard against discrimination. You can join us by completing a few short steps:
1. Visit www.getloudbc.ca
2. Read the letter
3. Add why accessibility is important to you (optional)
4. Press send.
We’ll do the rest.
The more voices the BC government hears on behalf of people with mental health and substance use-related disabilities, the more seriously they’ll take their needs. Together we can identify, remove and prevent barriers for persons with all types of disabilities.
