CMHA is taking part in a national fundraising event: the #PushUpChallenge!
The Push-Up Challenge began as a challenge between four friends and has grown to become Australia’s largest mental health and fitness event. Over 23 days this February, participants will work towards an overall goal of 2,000 push-ups (or other forms of exercise), relating to the 20% of Canadians who will experience a mental illness this year.
The Push-Up Challenge is all about building connection, getting physically and mentally fit, and raising funds for mental health in Canada. But you can substitute push-ups with alternative exercises or aim for a smaller portion of the target. Choose an alternative exercise option including:
➡️ Air squats
➡️ Resistance band pushes or pulls
➡️ Sit-ups
… and many more!
It’s free to sign up. Register now to get moving, learn about mental health, and raise funds for CMHA BC to improve mental health outcomes in the community.
